Meri Panchayat App is the official application of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India. Developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) of the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India, this mobile platform aims to provide unified and integrated governance for 80 crore rural residents, functionaries, and all stakeholders involved in the Panchayati Raj System.

The app fosters transparency in all Panchayats' functions and operations, enforces accountability, promotes public participation in decision-making processes, and aids in creating Panchayat development plans. It also supports social audits of development works and beneficiaries of various schemes.

By seamlessly integrating with multiple MoPR portals such as eGram Swaraj, Vibrant Gram Sabha, GPDP, Audit Online, MactionSoft, MGNREGA, Audit Online, Meri Panchayat App aims to centralize functions and information from various sources into a single mobile platform accessible to citizens and functionaries alike.

Its collaborative approach encourages good governance by facilitating the unified functioning of all involved stakeholders. The app grants residents easy access to comprehensive information about their Panchayats' operations on their smartphones, thereby boosting transparency.

Citizens can utilize Meri Panchayat App to access details on public representatives, Panchayat committees, meeting schedules, agendas, decisions made during Gram Sabha meetings, Panchayat budgets, development works listed in the Panchayat Development Plan, fund availability, revenues and expenditures, ongoing projects, and more.

Moreover, the app enhances citizen participation by enabling residents to propose activities for inclusion in the Gram Panchayat Development Plan, offer suggestions, review and rate developments within the plans. Additionally, it extends services under the Provision of Urban Amenities in Rural Areas (PURA) initiative to rural populations.

Meri Panchayat App provides location-based services for genuine complaint registrations with geotagged evidence. Residents can raise concerns about issues such as garbage disposal, cleanliness, street lighting, water supply, and more through authenticated complaints from the actual location.

Furthermore, it offers location-based services for social audits where the public can track progress on development works and report on their quality directly from the work site.
